Radiant House involved the conversion of redundant office space into accommodation for rent, in the centre of Plymouth. Developed on behalf of Magna Housing Association, the objective was to domesticate a commercial building, making it suitable for residential occupation. Externally, the application of 'brise soleil' to the existing facade provided the appropriate shading to the accommodation, whilst softening the previously rather institutional elevations.
